10 announces the castaways tackling Survivor: Blood V Water

Twenty-four castaways will battle it out alongside a loved one when Australian Survivor: Blood V Water premieres on Monday, 31 January at 7.30pm, on 10 and 10 Play on demand.
Siblings, couples, in-laws, and parents and children will all go head-to-head and test the strength of their bonds as they play the world’s toughest game. Survivor is ultimately an individual game, so what happens when you play bound to another player? Is it possible to betray the ones you love?
Hailing from Queensland are advertising consultant Andy, stay-at-home mum Kate, tradie Ben, bio medical student Shayelle, teacher Chrissy, ex-NRL player Croc, project manager David and digital producer Briana.
Representing Victoria are warehouse operator Alex, drummer Jay, beautician Amy, restauranteur Khanh, landscaper Jordie, personal trainer Jordan, pilot Josh, ex-flight attendant KJ, company director Sophie, ex-SAS commander Mark, endurance athlete Sam and chiropractor Mel.
Flying the flag for New South Wales is speech pathologist Melissa and representing the ACT is triathlete Jesse.
Which of these Castaways will successfully outwit, outplay, outlast and potentially turn on a loved one to claim the title of Sole Survivor 2022?
Produced by Endemol Shine Australia for Network 10 and supported by the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy, this latest series is expected to deliver $12.6 million for the state’s economy and employ 170 Queenslanders.

The new series comes off the back of series six of the show, Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn. The sixth season was filmed in Cloncurry, generating approximately $14.6 million and 150 local jobs.
The Brains v Brawn finale had 785,000 viewers (923,000 for winners announcement) as Hayley was crowned Sole Survivor and won $500,000. The winner’s announcement was the top segment across all key demographics.
