Adrián Flores has exited from Clemenger BBDO after joining May as chief creative officer in May last year.

A spokesperson said in a statement: "Adrián Flores has left his role as Chief Creative Officer of Clemenger BBDO Australia. He has made a positive contribution to the agency, in both the work created for clients and in evolving the structure of the creative team.

"We thank Adrián for his efforts and wish him all the best in his future career endeavours. The structure of the unified Executive Leadership Team for the new Clemenger agency will be announced in the coming weeks."

Mediaweek has reached out to Clemenger BBDO for comment.

During his time with the agency, Flores was instrumental in the campaigns for Carlton & United Breweries' (CUB) Embrace the Mid campaign, Victoria’s TAC toy-themed campaign for e-scooters safely and Vodka Cruiser's new brand platform, Bold Choice.

Flores, who was born in Mexico City and raised in Toowoomba, Queensland, most recently spent three years as vice president of creative at New York-based Robot, the brand consultancy arm of The SpringHill Company, a consumer and entertainment group co-founded by NBA star LeBron James and his business partner Mav Carter.

Flores returned to Australia for the role last year after over a decade in international creative leadership roles. He replaced Jim Curtis, who left in September to become EVP, global executive CD at McCann New York.

Flores' departure from the agency follows the departure of CEO, Dani Bassil last month, after two years at the helm of the agency. The Group’s agencies - CHEP Network and Traffik - have since been consolidated into Clemenger BBDO.

The group is now led by Clemenger Group CEO Les Timar with Lee Legget appointed CEO of Clemenger BBDO.
