Cummins&partners announced it has been appointed to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance and STEPtember creative and media account, after a competitive pitch.

Sophie Lander, national managing director at cummins&partners, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be working with such an amazing organisation and team who are excited to do great, effective and meaningful work together.

"We immediately felt that we would be perfect partners and could really deliver on how to push what human potential could mean."

Heath Collins, national creative director at cummins&partners, said: "It’s an absolute honour to join Dyranda and the extraordinary extended team at CPA.

"The energy and passion they exude is something to behold, and something we were instantly inspired by and determined to be a part of. We’re privileged to now be given the opportunity to make our contribution."

Dyranda Hortle, general manager marketing and communications, Cerebral Palsy Alliance, said: "We are so excited to work with cummins&partners for creative and media as they showed how an integrated offering could work to deliver on our objectives.

"We are positioning Cerebral Palsy Alliance as a global centre of CP expertise and we needed a strategic and creative agency partner who could help embed this across our brand, through all touchpoints," he added.

Lander added: "We can’t wait to get started and do amazing work together. Stay tuned!"

This news comes after independent agency’s media announced the appointment of Luke Maher as its new head of media.

Maher returns to Australia after four years in the UK. He will work across the agency's only and integrated accounts, and will be working out of Cummins&Partners’ Melbourne office. His hire comes amid a period of growth for the agency, with the company combining its creative and media offerings to clients.
