Havas Red launches AI proposition Agency Intelligence

HAVAS Red has been appointed public relations agency of record for Smartsheet across Australia and New Zealand following a competitive pitch.

The partnership will see HAVAS Red lead earned-media engagement for Smartsheet across the region, supporting the company’s thought leadership, corporate storytelling, and executive visibility in the AI-enabled work management category.

Smartsheet said its platform is designed to help organisations manage operational complexity by connecting people, data and AI across industries, including healthcare, construction and local government.

Focus on AI-powered work management

HAVAS Red said its program for Smartsheet would combine earned media, thought leadership and executive profiling to showcase how the platform’s AI-driven capabilities are being used by organisations across ANZ.

“Enterprises everywhere are trying to make sense of unprecedented complexity,” said Myrna Van Pelt, Head of Corporate and Innovation at HAVAS Red Australia.

“Smartsheet is delivering the clarity, visibility, and genuine business impact organisations need to execute with confidence. We’re thrilled to partner with their team to tell that story and champion the leaders who are reinventing how work gets done in the AI-era.”

Expanding HAVAS Red’s technology client portfolio

The appointment adds to HAVAS Red Australia’s portfolio of B2B technology clients and strengthens the agency’s corporate and innovation practice.

Shane Russell, CEO of HAVAS Red Australia, said the win reflected growing interest among organisations in adopting AI-enabled business tools.

“Securing the Smartsheet account highlights the strength of our corporate and innovation practice,” Russell said.

“Australian organisations are increasingly turning to AI to create visibility and make faster, smarter decisions. Smartsheet plays a critical role in helping leaders harness AI to turn fragmented work into coordinated outcomes, and we’re excited to help tell that story across the region.”
