Independent creative agency Those That Do has named Claire Sutton as its first Creative Director, a move that underscores the company’s ambition to scale its creative output across multiple markets.

Those That Do has been repositioning itself in recent months, launching a new identity earlier this month to reflect its evolution from a small collective to a multi-market creative company.

Sutton will be based in Sydney and work closely with founder and CEO Ben Walker to guide creative delivery across Sydney, Melbourne, London and Dubai. Her remit includes shaping the agency’s creative direction and leading its design team as the business expands.

The Those That Do team.

With 15 years in advertising, design and branding, Sutton’s career spans senior roles at Purpose, Reset Australia, Republic of Everyone and Clemenger BBDO. Most recently Creative Lead at Paper Moose, she worked on major campaigns such as Rollin’ Insurance. Her work has been recognised by D&AD, The Webbys and Anthem, and she has also taught communications design at Western Sydney University.

For Sutton, the attraction is the agency’s focus on meaningful brand action. “Those That Do’s mission to create meaningful momentum for brands directly aligns with my passion for insightful storytelling and impactful activations,” she said.

Her appointment is effective immediately.
