Will Andrew Denton make a 2017 TV & radio comeback?

Denton is believed to have been in discussion with at least two major radio networks

After news just yesterday in The Australian that Andrew Denton could be returning to television in an interview program currently under discussion with David Gyngell and the Nine Network, there is further speculation that Denton could be heard more often on radio too in the future.

Denton is believed to have been in discussion with at least two major radio networks. If that happens he could return to what has been his spiritual home, Southern Cross Austereo. Denton spent many years at Triple M Sydney and he is the sort of talent who could attract advertisers and listeners on a syndicated national program.

September and October are the months of the year where radio contracts are renegotiated and schedules are planned for 2017.

It is surely coincidence that Denton's former Triple M partner Amanda Keller is soon to enter discussions with ARN about renewing her contract, along with her WSFM co-host, Brendan Jones.
