The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) has confirmed the 39th ARIA Awards will take place on Wednesday 19 November at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, in partnership with Spotify. The event will be broadcast on Network 10 and streamed live on Paramount+.

It marks the fourth consecutive year the awards will be held at the Hordern Pavilion on Gadigal land. ARIA said the 2025 ceremony will be its “biggest global stage to date” with the combined reach of free-to-air and streaming audiences, alongside Spotify’s global platform and marketing resources.

Spotify will support the event with custom in-app programming, curated playlists, editorial features and integrated marketing campaigns aimed at amplifying nominees and winners both locally and internationally.

In 2024, the ARIAs recognised a strong year for Australian talent, with Sydney duo Royel Otis winning four awards, Troye Sivan taking three including Album of the Year, and Missy Higgins named Best Australian Live Act before being inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame. Supergroup 3% also collected their first two ARIAs.

ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd said: “With so many of our local artists dominating on huge global stages in the past year, we have lots to celebrate – and this year we are taking the ARIA Awards to a whole new level. Spotify’s considerable backing with its powerful platform and proven ability to amplify music worldwide, as well as a new home with Paramount Australia, will be a gamechanger for the ARIAs and all of this year’s nominated artists.”

Daniel Monaghan, SVP Content and Programming at Paramount Australia, said: "The ARIA Awards are an  electrifying celebration of Australia’s bold, vibrant and creative music industry, and we can’t wait to  share this iconic event loudly across multiple platforms. Showcasing the country’s rich and diverse  homegrown talent, viewers won’t miss a minute of Australian music’s night of nights, with the ARIA  Awards broadcast on 10, with live streaming on Paramount+."

NSW Minister for Jobs and Tourism Steve Kamper welcomed the return to the Hordern Pavilion, noting changes to NSW’s after-dark trading rules were aimed at boosting the live music scene and supporting the night-time economy.
