ARIA Chart: Calvin Harris & Disciples + Metal band lands #1 on album chart

Delta Goodrem has said goodbye to top spot with "Wings" sliding down the chart to #9.

Making the small jump from #2 to #1 was Calvin Harris and Disciples with "How Deep Is Your Love" taking six weeks to crack top spot.

Just missing out on #1 are Nico and Vinz with "That's How You Know" oh-so-close as it zoomed from #7 to #2.

Four artists saw their songs make the top spot this week with all of them a chance to make it all the way:
#22 to #5: City featuring Adam Levin with "Locked Away"
#18 to #6: Taylor Swift with "Wildest Dreams"
#15 to #8: Vance Joy with "Fire and the Flood"
New at #10: Nelly featuring Jeremih with "The Fix"

Just one other artist had a tune debut in the top 50 – Jessie J with "Ain't Been Done" which was new at #47.

Four other artists made strides up the chart in the last week of winter – Felix Jaehn with "Ain't Nobody" up from #63 to #21, Jess Glynne with "Don't Be So Hard On Yourself" from #54 to #37, Jarryd James featuring Julia Stone with "Regardless" up from #92 to #48 and Meg Mac with "Never Be" from #71 to #50.

Albums

Chicago heavy metal band Disturbed debuted this week at #1 with "Immortalized", taking the place of Bullet For My Valentine who saw "Venom" drop to #11 in its second week.

Three of the other four top five slots went to newcomers this week with artists at very different stages of their careers.

#3 Bon Jovi with "Burning Bridges" their 13th and last studio album from Mercury
#4 Rob Thomas with "The Great Unknown"
#5 Short Stack with "Homecoming"

John Farnham and Olivia Newton-John saw "Two Strong Hearts" climb again, up from #19 to #10 in the ninth week on the chart for the former #1 album.

The three top 10 veterans have all hung on for another week – #6 Taylor Swift with "1989" (44 weeks), #7 Ed Sheeran with "X" (62 weeks) and #9 Meghan Trainor with "Title" (33 weeks).

Seven other albums landed in the top 50 on debut:
