ARIA Charts: Taylor Swift and QOTSA new chart champs

After two weeks on top with "What About Us", P!nk has slipped to #2 to make way for Taylor Swift with the much-analysed "Look What You Made Me Do". The new single is the only track to crack the top 50 on debut. It is Swift's fifth #1 single and the first release from her next album "Reputation".

A number of other tunes have slipped into the 50 from further down the chart:

#30 Marshmello v Khalid with "Silence"
#36 Camila Cabello with "Havana" featuring Young Thug
#37 Logic with "1-800-273-8255" featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid
#43 Portugal. The Man with "Feel It Still"

Albums

Since Ed Sheeran surrendered top spot there has been a succession of new music topping the chart – three new #1 albums in the past three weeks. The latest to occupy top spot is Queens Of The Stone Age with "Villains" debuting #1. The 21-year-old California band's seventh album is its second #1 album.

Also new to the top 10 are:

#5 The War On Drugs with "A Deeper Understanding" – the first time in top 10 and the fourth album from one of Philadelphia's finest
#6 Kim Churchill with "Weight Falls" – the fifth album and first time in top 10 for Canberra-born folk singer
#9 Fifth Harmony with "Fifth Harmony" – the third album from the American girl group

Plenty of room for soundtracks again in the top 10. Both volumes of Guardians Of The Galaxy are back in the top 10 with the first volume spending 130 weeks on the chart so far. The Moana soundtrack holds again at #10 after 37 weeks on the chart.
