Oz subscription TV industry takes over Canberra
David Speers hosted the annual ASTRA event at Parliament House

The Australian subscription television industry took over Canberra last night for its annual ASTRA event at Parliament House with David Speers from Sky News again hosting.
As usual it was well-attended with attractions including a photo booth where people could have their photo taken on a Foxtel magazine cover alongside celebs like Chris Hemsworth, Jon Snow and Tim Cahill (the latter being very popular) and the obligatory ASTRA lollie bar.
ASTRA chair Tony Shepherd and Comms Minister Mitch Fifield both spoke. The minister talked about how much he loved subscription TV and particularly his favourite show The Walking Dead.
He also admitted excitement about meeting actors Brett Climo and Sigrid Thornton.
Other politicians attending included Julie Bishop, Barnaby Joyce and Anthony Albanese.
Foxtel celebrities visiting the nation's capital included Jennifer Hawkins, Brett Climo (A Place to Call Home), Sigrid Thornton (Wentworth) and George Gregan and Jessica Yates from Fox Sports.
