Audience embraces Charlie Pickering’s The Weekly

Former host of TEN’s The Project, Charlie Pickering, made a return to screens last night with the premiere of The Weekly on the ABC.

The Weekly had a first up audience of 724,000 with a very appreciative studio audience laughing long and hard in all the right places.

Melbourne had the biggest audience of 259,000 with 202,000 in Sydney. By comparison, five of the 10 Mad As Hell episodes were over 700,000 with a series high of 786,000.
