This weekend, the Australian box office made $11.26 million, down 1% from last week's $11.38 million.

Moving its way into the top spot after the past two weeks at #2 is Warner Bros' DC League of Super-Pets. Starring Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, the film tells the story of Superman's pet dog Krypto and shelter dog Ace, who work with other animals to save the captured superheroes from Lex Luthor and Lulu. To date, the film has brought in over $13 million.

Sliding down to second in its third week was Ticket to Paradise starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts. Despite the plot set in Bali, the Ol Parker-directed film was filmed in Queensland. This past weekend, the film grossed over $1.92 million, a -33% fall from the week before.

Paramount+ came in third with its horror film Smile. Written and directed by Parker Finn, the film stars Sosie Bacon as a therapist who, after witnessing the bizarre suicide of a patient, goes through increasingly disturbing and daunting experiences, leading her to believe what she is experiencing is supernatural.

Grossing over $1 million this past weekend was Indian film Ponniyin Selvan: I. The period action drama has so far become the 14th highest-grossing Tamil film of all time.

In fifth place this past weekend was Walt Disney's See How They Run. The mystery comedy film directed by Tom George takes place in the West End of 1950s London and sees plans for a movie version of a smash-hit play come to an abrupt halt after a pivotal member of the crew is murdered.

Falling out of the box office top five this past week were Paramount's Paws Of Fury: The Legend Of Hank starring Michael Cera, Samuel L. Jackson and Ricky Gervais, Roadshow's Fall - a survival thriller film directed and co-written by Scott Mann and the 2013 Avatar re-release.
