The Australian Box Office has grossed $7.19 million this week, averaging $1,686 over 4,266 screens. Overall this is down 16%, with last week bringing in $8.61 million.

Debuting to number one this week is Guy Ritchie’s Wrath of Man. A new security guard for a Los Angeles cash truck surprises his co-workers when he unleashes precision skills during a heist. The cash truck crew is left wondering who he is and why he's working with them.

Wrath of Man is the second R rated film to debut in the top spot over the last two weeks, with Mortal Kombat taking the title last week. This week the video game adaptation has been bumped down to second place.

With Godzilla Vs Kong rounding out the top three, it seems audiences are very much in the mood for a good fight - whether that be between MMA fighters, vigilantes and criminals, or a dinosaur and a giant ape.

Dropping out of the top five this week is Tom and Jerry, which has slipped from fourth to sixth on its fifth week of release.

#1 Wrath of Man, $1,73 million

Averaging $4,444 over 389 screens, Wrath of Man sees Jason Statham setting traps and seeking revenge.

#2 Mortal Kombat, $1,64 million

In its second week of release, Mortal Kombat has fought its way to an average of $4,241 across 386 screens.

#3 Godzilla Vs Kong, $501,101

There is a significant difference between second and third place this week, with Godzilla Vs Kong pulling in $1,981 across 253 screens. However, for a film in its sixth week of release, Godzilla Vs Kong is still putting in a strong performance.

#4 Peter Rabbit 2, $495,681

With Tom and Jerry dropping out of the top five this week, Peter Rabbit 2 remains the only family friendly flick on the list. This week it averaged $1,489 across 333 screens.

#5 Six Minutes to Midnight, $314,605

The British war drama film was directed by Andy Goddard from a screenplay by Goddard, Celyn Jones, and Eddie Izzard. It averaged $1,374 across 229 screens this week.
