Brand New Media (BNM) has acquired Melbourne based, boutique media agency MAX & Partners (MAX), to capitalise on brand and agency demand for end-to-end video content marketing services in the region.

The partnership will see MAX integrate their existing agency clients into BNM, and become representatives for BNM’s existing portfolio of broadcast FTA channel 4ME, TVNZ and video content marketing services.

BNM managing director David Borean (pictured L) said: “I’m delighted to welcome Gerard Max (pictured R) and his team to the BNM family. The acquisition of MAX will position BNM as a key provider of digitally led video content solutions in the Melbourne. Gerard has cultivated a wonderful group of clients and we look forward sharing a successful future with them in the years to come. With the start of this exciting era, we end the long term tenure of Andrew Easton, who has been the foundation of BNM Melbourne for the past 10 years. Andrew has led BNM and built an outstanding business with 4ME and TVNZ representation. Andrew will be transitioning out of BNM Melbourne in the coming months.”

MAX & Partners director and founder Gerard Max previously had roles at Seven, Nine and MCN before launching the boutique agency in 2012.

He will be the managing partner of BNM Melbourne and key contact for all BNM services (video content strategy, production & distribution including 4ME & TVNZ ) in Melbourne, effective 4 December 2015.
