Involved Media and Active International Australia announce Chris Thomas as head of digital

Involved Media and Active International Australia have announced the appointment of Chris Thomas as head of digital across both businesses.

Thomas has been consulting to Involved Media since mid-2021. He now joins the agency full-time and will also work across Involved’s parent company Active International.

One of Australia’s most experienced digital marketing executives, Thomas was head of digital at Publicis Media for almost four years, until April 2021.

His resume also includes senior roles at Zenith in Australia, OMD in Australia and the UK, and Integral Ad Science in the UK.

Reporting to Involved Media and Active International Australia Group managing director, Sarah Keith, Thomas is responsible for building the Active International and Involved digital, data and technology offering for the future.

Keith said: “Chris has made a great contribution to Involved over the past six months and I’m delighted to welcome him to his new role across both Involved and Active International.

“His appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to giving our clients access to the best people and the best expertise.

“Chris will work closely with the Active International and Involved leadership teams to ensure that clients across both businesses have access to market-leading, commercially-relevant digital solutions. He will also ensure that all levels of Active and Involved have the relevant level of digital expertise to best support our clients’ business objectives,” she said.

The appointment of Thomas follows the addition of several other senior executives at Involved during 2021.
