Living Image Media key hires

Living Image Media has announced three key hires to its retail media business.

The Australian sales team will be boosted by the appointment of Dean Coates who joins the Digital Out-of-Home company from oOh! Media where he was enterprise business manager.

Coates is an experienced leader and brings with him over ten years of sales experience, and a deep understanding of the Out-of-Home sector.

As the retail industry bounces back from the turbulence of Covid, Coates said he is confident about the success that lies ahead.

"The chance to talk to marketers about a truly new and innovative media solution is really exciting. With full motion and audio capabilities, Digital Content Mirrors take the possibilities of Out-of-Home engagement to another level," he added.

Joining Coates is Suzy Parker, Living Image Media’s new group sales manager who previously served as senior business manager with Fairfax/Nine Entertainment in Melbourne.

Parker said she is thrilled to join Living Image Media at such a time of exciting growth, and added: "My experience working with established media brands has given me the grounding to really help establish this new DOOH concept with agency buyers and clients directly."

The final appointment is chief technology officer Steven Swamy who joins the company following a successful career at Cyient. He will champion digital transformation and the rapid rollout of Digital Content Mirrors across retail centres nationally.

Swamy said: "I have always been impressed by the vision of the Living Image Media leadership team. I’m looking forward to bringing my technical and operational experience to the development of the business."

The reinvention of Living Image Media follows its recent acquisition by Moo Active Media Pty Ltd.

CEO and former Adshel executive Peter Glavincevski said the business is raring to go.

"With new owners, a revised capital structure and a strong sales and technology team, we’re perfectly set to provide best-in-class media opportunities for brands looking for an intimate audience connection," he said.

"As the retail environment continues to rebound, we’re looking forward to partnering with Australia’s most premium centres and helping brands get front-and-centre in the shopper journey," he added.

Living Image Media's national network currently features 220 Digital Content Mirrors with major shopping centre groups including QIC, GPT, Lendlease, Stockland, Dexus and others. The upcoming rollout will increase the network to more than 500 mirrors including the recently installed Canberra Centre.
