Seven sending staff on a corporate mentoring program

Seven will be giving 30 employees the chance to participate in a 12 month mentoring program.

Seven West Media has chosen 30 of its employees in leadership positions to take part in a 12-month corporate mentoring program at Inspiring Rare Birds.

Seven West Media is the home of well-known media properties on TV and in print such as My Kitchen Rules, Home and Away, Sunrise, Better Homes and Gardens, marie claire, Who and The West Australian. It is also the broadcast partner of the AFL and Cricket Australia.

Seven West Media’s group executive for human resources, Katie McGrath, said: “We hope that our leaders that participate in the program will feel more confident and more capable of achieving their personal and career goals, and that they go on to use the insight and skills they learn to develop their leadership skills and make more informed, intelligent business decisions.

“Our expectation is that the company will see significant upside through increased productivity, improved leadership effectiveness, higher employee engagement and better business performance.”
