Two key changes have been made at the top of MediaCom Melbourne, with general manager Anny Havercroft being promoted to the role of managing director Melbourne. Brett Elliott, currently head of implementation planning and investment will replace her as GM Melbourne.

Havercroft has been with MediaCom for eight years, and was promoted to GM last October. She said of her appointment: "It's exciting to be leading the charge in this new phase for MediaCom Melbourne. For me, our agency approach of 'people first, better results' holds true as I'm fortunate to have a talented management team who have collaborated with me to re-energise our agency, as well as progressive clients who value our content + connections thinking."

Elliott has worked at MediaCom for over 15 years. As part of the Melbourne Leadership Team, Elliott has forged a powerful and complementary partnership with Havercroft. He will continue to lead the investment operations for the agency, and within his new remit, will be more broadly involved in overall operations and commercials for the agency.

Mark Heap, MediaCom APAC CEO and acting CEO MediaCom Australia, said: "We are thrilled that we, as an agency, can recognise and promote exceptional talent from within. Our leadership team is filled with talented, passionate individuals, whom collectively, have progressive mindsets that will ensure our clients continue to receive world-class work. With more investments in senior talent being made in the coming months, 2016 is going to be an exciting year for all at MediaCom Australia."
