Crimtan appoints Jeff Purser as ANZ sales director

• Purser will oversee driving revenue and results for its customer base

Crimtan has announced the appointment of Jeff Purser as its new ANZ sales director, effective immediately.

In his new role, the newly appointed ANZ sales director will be responsible for driving revenue and results for Crimtan’s broad customer base across Australia and New Zealand.

Purser will be working closely with JAPAC commercial director, Joshua Wilson, to build on new business development strategies for the region.

Purser has worked in digital sales management roles for many years, most recently as Head of Sales for a national company.

Prior to that, he was the APAC head of sales for Octomedia, national sales manager for AAP, and state sales manager for the Spiel Group.

Wilson said Purser would be a significant asset to the team. "Jeff comes to Crimtan with a wealth of digital sales experience, particularly in strategy and management. He’s renowned industry-wide for his work ethic and his ability to successfully manage teams that hit their goals.

Wilson added: "Jeff is passionate about nurturing and developing his people and I’m confident he’s going to be a strong leader across the Crimtan business."

Meanwhile Purser said of his appointment to the role: "I’m thrilled to be joining the Crimtan team. Crimtan is well-known for its innovative digital advertising solutions and its drive to consistently offer value for its clients.

"As the market contends with the upcoming demise of third-party cookies, Crimtan is already driving new partnerships and collaborations to be well-prepared for the change and to continue to deliver for their customers.

"It’s an exciting time in the digital space and I’m looking forward to helping Crimtan navigate the change," Purser added.

Last month, the agency announced its partnership with automotive digital publishers Autovia and Haymarket Automotive to power an innovative digital advertising solution using their pooled first-party audience data.
