Birdman in the bistro

The list includes something for all price ranges – from an expense account dip for a VIP client to a cheap and cheerful satisfying adventure that you won’t be able to claim.

Birdman in the bistro: Expense account for a VIP client

Birdman in the bistro

Botswana Butchery – Martin Place
Incredible menu and I felt like I had gone to meat heaven. A stunning variety of dishes especially the selection from the wood grill.
The dish you must try: Rangers Valley Tomahawk.

A’Mare – Crown Barangaroo

A classic Italian dining experience that takes it to a whole new level. I enjoyed the final prep work at the table, it elevated the dishes and added a touch of theatre.

The dish you must try: Egg spaghetti chitarra and rock lobster with cherry tomatoes, garlic and chili.

Birdman in the bistro: Fun team lunch

MuMu – George St Sydney CBD
A fun southeast Asian street food vibe with delicious dishes to share.
The dish you must try: The nasi goreng is one of the best I’ve tasted- so much flavor.

Spice Alley – Kensington Street Chippendale
Buzzy street food vibe that has a great variety from Malaysian to Japanese. Great for a group & sharing everything.
The dish you must try: Roti canai from Alex Lee Kitchen

Sparrow’s Brekkie Favourites

Bills – Surry Hills
A breakfast institution with incredible creamy scrambled eggs and corn fritters is famous. However, I can’t go past the ricotta hotcakes with banana & honeycomb butter.

Henry Lee’s – Redfern
A wonderful laneway café with a funky warehouse vibe that serves incredible food.
My favorite dish is Henry’s Dream – dream away.

Cheap & cheerful lunch with crew & I’m paying for myself

The Commodore – North Sydney
The $10 lunch specials cover all the classics – burger, schnitty, minute steak

The Dolphin-Surry Hills
Hard to go past the delicious pizzas

Make Easter memorable

Best Hot Cross Buns
Humble Bakery in Surry Hills & the Quay – Another taste sensation similar to their pink icing finger buns.

Best Chocolate Easter Eggs
Normally a fan of Lindt chocolate, however at Easter I can’t go past Koko Black divine eggs.

Pick of the week: Botswana Butchery’s special gold leaf wagu
