This week the Australian box office made $3.69 million, up 31% from last week’s $2.82 million.

Re-entering the top five after previously dropping out is Space Jam: A New Legacy.

25 years after the original Space JamSpace Jam: A New Legacy has seen Michael Jordan swapped out for Lebron James in a modern adaption of one of the most beloved basketball movies of all time. Back in its first week of release, it averaged a huge $6,193 per screen.

It takes the fifth spot from last week's re-entry of Jungle Cruise.

Following in the footsteps of Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise is based on Disneyland’s theme park ride where a riverboat takes a group of travelers through a jungle, encountering all sorts of dangerous animals  – and other adventures – along the way.

The 25th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the only film this week to come close to cracking the million mark. It averaged an impressive $3,710 across 259 screens. This brings it to a total of $8.5 million.
