The Australian Box Office has grossed $6.68 million this week, averaging $1,494 over 4,474 screens. Overall this is up 17%, with last week bringing in $5.59 million.
There are two new entries to the top five this week: Those Who Wish Me Dead and Spiral: From The Book Of Saw.
Debuting to the third position, Spiral: From the Book of Saw is the ninth film in the wildly popular Saw franchise. It is written by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger, and directed by Darren Lynn Bousman - his fourth film of the series.
Dropping out of the top five this week is Peter Rabbit 2, and finally - after a mammoth eight weeks in the top five - Godzilla Vs. Kong.
With the top five this week being made up of two films rated R18+, two rated MA15+, and one rated M, it seems the family-friendly fun of the Easter long weekend is well and truly over.
#1 Those Who Wish Me Dead, $1.12 million
The only film to crack the $1 million mark this week, the film about a teenage murder witness who finds himself being chased by assassins debuts to the top of the box office charts.

#2 Wrath of Man, $978,451
In its third week of release, people are still keen to see Jason Statham setting traps and seeking revenge. The film made an average of $2,886 over 339 screens this week, and has made a total of $5.09 million to date.
#3 Spiral: From The Book Of Saw, $717,598
Here to terrorise a new generation of people who walk into the cinema thinking “how scary can it possibly be?”, the latest Saw installment made an average of $2,264 across 317 screens this week.
#4 Mortal Kombat, $447,838
Still fighting to stay in the top five, Mortal Kombat made an average of $1,749 across 256 screens this week. Close to cracking the $1 million mark, it has made a total of $8.68 million to date.
#5 June Again, $410,155
Breaking the chain of films about violent killers, Australia’s June Again rounds out the top five. This week it made an average of $1,345 across 305 screens, bringing it to a total of $1.35 million to date.
