Farmer Wants A Wife returns for its fourth season on Seven and 7plus with five new farmers in search of a soulmate.

This year's farmers, who hail from tropical Queensland to the rugged Snowy, will experience the highs and lows of love that starts with an enchanting first date and concludes with a final heart-pounding decision.

Farmer Wants A Wife, produced by Eureka Productions for the Seven Network, is hosted by Samantha Armytage and co-host Natalie Gruzlewski.

This year’s farmers include:

Farmer Bert, 30 – Wamuran, QLD
Farmer Joe, 33 – Bombala, NSW
Farmer Dustin, 26 – Condobolin, NSW
Farmer Dean, 25 – Kandanga, QLD
Farmer Tom, 22 – Tabilk, VIC

Last year, Farmer Wants A Wife reached more than 8.5 million viewers across its run, and for the first time on Australian television, every farmer found love.

The show boosted its BVOD reach 45% year-on-year, to attract 1.47 million unique viewers on the streaming service to date, and averaging 188,000 viewers per episode, with live streaming up 27% year-on-year.

At the time, Seven’s chief content officer, entertainment programming, Angus Ross, said: “Farmer Wants A Wife has attracted record audiences this year, with over 8.5million Australians watching the fairy tale.

“Drawing strong audiences across all screens since its launch, the show soared with its biggest ever audience on 7plus to become Seven’s #1 entertainment show so far in 2023 and Australia’s #1 entertainment series since Easter.

“The show’s massive audience across Seven and 7plus highlights why VOZ total audience is the best and most relevant measure of how our content attracts and engages viewers,” he said.

EP of Farmer Wants A Wife and head of reality at the Seven Network Sylvia D’Souza also spoke to Mediaweek last year and reflected on the 2023 season, as well as shared her outlook for the show's upcoming season.
