• No change at the top with Bieber and Adele the biggest-sellers in Christmas week...and Jess & Matt make an impact on album chart

Singles
Justin Bieber was the chart champ at Christmas with "Love Yourself" on the ARIA singles chart released several days before December 25. On the latest chart, which reflects sales in the days preceding Christmas Day, he maintained the chart-topping position. This gives his hit single "Love Yourself" its third successive week at #1.
Bieber has also moved into second place with "Sorry", up from #3 last week.
The biggest newcomer on the chart this week was "Fast Car" from Jonas Blue featuring Dakota which climbed to #4 from #82.
The other new entry to the top 10 this week was "IN2" from Wstern up from #18 to #10.
Just missing a top 10 spot this week was Snakeships with "All My Friends" featuring Tinashe and Chance The Rapper.
Two tunes debuted in the top 50 this week:
#34 Zara Larrson with "Lush Life"
#37 Tobtok with "Fast Car" featuring River

Albums
Adele has secured five successive weeks at #1 with "25" as it again dominated album sales, this time in Christmas week.
There was no change to the top three with Michael Bublé and Justin Bieber maintaining second and third positions.
The top five are all former number one albums with both Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift finishing a massive chart year at fourth and fifth with "X" and "1989" which have both achieved Diamond chart status for passing half a million units each.
Jess & Matt were new to the top 10 with their self-titled debut album. The duo, who finished third in The X Factor this year take the place of The X Factor winner Cyrus on the chart who has dropped from #9 to #15 in its third week.
Chris Brown's "Royalty" was the highest new entry at #14.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is having a music chart impact too with the soundtrack from John Williams debuting at #24.
Also sneaking into the chart in Christmas week was "Christmas & Chill" from Ariana Grande at #49.
