News Corp and IGA launch Easy Living magazine in SA

A new lifestyle magazine was launched in Adelaide yesterday.

The joint News Corp SA and IGA publication is dedicated to delivering fresh food content to hundreds of thousands of readers across South Australia.

Easy Living IGA will be delivered to more than 420,000 households through the Messenger Community News network, and will also be available in IGA supermarkets across the state.

Celebrity cook and MasterChef All Stars winner Callum Hann will provide easy-to-follow recipes each month while his Sprout cooking school business partner Themis Chryssidis will discuss the nutritional aspect of what we put on our plates.

News Corporation regional director South Australia Ish Davies said the publication was an innovative collaboration between IGA and News Corp SA.

“The solution we developed together tapped into the extraordinary popularity of food media — the launch of a dedicated food and lifestyle monthly magazine called Easy Living,’’ Davies said.

“Easy Living IGA allows IGA to get its message of convenience, fresh food and community connection out to its audience in a manner which we are uniquely positioned to do.

“Messenger Community News publications, with over 500,000 distributed weekly, provide a unique connection to our local communities — a vital touchpoint for news and advertising in the immediate area."

The joint publishing venture, monthly magazine Easy Living IGA, is published by News Corp SA Custom Publishing.
