SBS has secured an all-star broadcasting team for the FIFA World Cup 2022. The official broadcaster for the 22nd FIFA World Cup, SBS has released its broadcast team, including iconic international ‘voice of football’, Martin Tyler, football presenters Richard Bayliss, Niav Owens, Premier League champion Mark Bosnich and former Socceroos captain and 2022 Australian Father of the Year Craig Foster AM.

Former Matilda and Head of Women's Football at Football Australia, Sarah Walsh will join the team as a guest analyst in the studio. Exclusive pitch-side tournament coverage will be delivered by David Basheer and Matt Connellan.

SBS’s broadcast will feature all 64 matches live and free on TV and live streaming via SBS On Demand, with many matches airing at favourable times for Australians, with seven matches in the group stage scheduled during prime time at 9 pm (AEDT) and 20 games kicking off at 6 am (AEDT).

“We are thrilled to again deliver our award-winning and multilingual coverage live and free to all Australians. No one does football like SBS, and from pitch side to inside the locker rooms, we’ll bring our audiences all the best action and atmosphere from this unique World Cup.”

Matches will be broadcast in up to four languages simultaneously; English, Arabic and in languages of competing teams. SBS Radio will also broadcast all 64 matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, live and free via DAB digital radio, mobile and online.

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 kicks off on November 21 running until December 19, live and free on SBS.
