Four Corners: Black Summer
Stories from the frontlines of Australia’s bushfire crisis

On Monday, Four Corners brings you the people and the stories behind the heart-stopping footage seen around the world. This special bushfire edition of Four Corners is presented by Hamish Macdonald.

A team of reporters and producers have fanned out across the country to track down the Australians who found themselves in the centre of the firestorms.  What emerges are incredible stories of survival, bravery and heartbreak.

From the cabins of firetrucks driving into the inferno to families retreating to the beaches as the flames grew ever closer, these stories from the frontlines are both terrifying and awe-inspiring.

9:35pm Q+A: Live from Bega Showground

Q+A returns with new host Macdonald for a Bushfires Special live from Bega, on the south coast of NSW. Fire-affected communities will have the chance to put their questions to those in power, looking at the emergency response, climate change, hazard reduction and the recovery effort.
