Viewers will be treated to over 100 hours of live programming with a dedicated Fox Sports channel for the 150th Open as the world’s best golfers descend on The Home of Golf, historic St Andrews.

The Open Channel on FOX SPORTS 505 is live now and will broadcast every round of The Open with the championship action teeing off on Thursday, July 14, with round 1 at 3:30 pm.

The channel will be uninterrupted across the weekend until the tournament’s final round on Monday, July 18.

Simultaneously, FOX SPORTS 506 will also have a Featured Groups Channel which will broadcast highlights from every round of The Open.

Paul Gow, Fox Sports Golf expert, said the St Andrews Old Course is one of the most difficult to master, demanding a range of skills across challenging holes.

“The Open is the ultimate test and asks questions of players that no other tournament does,” Gow said.

“The famous 17th, the Road Hole, is 495 yards long and into the wind which makes it one of the world’s most challenging holes to play. It will be unmissable television.”
