Frances Sheen has resumed her full-time role at Mediaweek Australia as Head of Editorial.

Sheen joined the title in October 2024, before transitioning to a part-time role at the end of May.

"It’s great to continue shaping our editorial direction,” said Sheen. “I’m incredibly grateful to our owners, Vinyl Media, for their support and flexibility over the past month, and I’m looking forward to what we’ll build next."

As Head of Editorial, Sheen leads the direction of Mediaweek’s multichannel content strategy and shapes the voice of the brand across all platforms, working closely with editor Dan Barrett and the editorial team.

She will continue to work on the platform's major events, including Next of the Best and the Mediaweek 100, ensuring these initiatives continue to elevate and reflect the best of the media, marketing, and creative industries.

Next of the Best Awards, 2025

"Frances plays a pivotal role in shaping our voice and ambition, said General Manager Sarah Chapman. "As we expand both our editorial footprint and our event portfolio, I'm thrilled to have her lead the charge."
