Freeview appoints Scott Mota marketing director to work on launch of FreeviewPlus

Freeview has appointed Scott Mota (pictured) to the newly created role of marketing director. Mota will play a key role in driving the new creative direction for the Freeview brand, including the appointment of a new creative agency.

Mota has more than 15 years of content marketing experience across the broadcast, theatrical and home entertainment industries including head of marketing for the LifeStyle channels at Foxtel, and  senior marketing roles at Hasbro, Warner Bros and 20th Century Fox.

Liz Ross, CEO of Freeview, said: “We are delighted  to welcome Scott to the team at this exciting time for the Freeview brand with the launch of FreeviewPlus, a world-first TV service for Australia. Scott’s experience and skills make him the perfect fit for this role, and we look forward to having him on board for the next phase of FreeviewPlus’s growth.”

Mota said: “Having worked across multiple content delivery platforms, I am excited to be joining the Freeview team, and to be working on such an innovative product in FreeviewPlus.”

Mota’s appointment is effective immediately.
