Gelato Messina teams with Orange Is The New Black for limited edition gelato creation
To celebrate the release of Orange is the New Black Season Two on Blu-ray & DVD on Wednesday, the team at Mediaweek's local Gelato Messina have developed a limited edition gelato creation which will be served up on a prison-style cafeteria tray – it’s peas, mash & meatloaf like you’ve never seen them before!
The Limited Edition creation will be available for sale from Gelato Messina’s Darlinghurst Dessert Bar (243 Victoria St, Darlinghurst) from Wednesday 20th May at 12pm. Fans are advised to get in quick as this is limited edition in the strictest sense with only 50 available for purchase ($12), with the first 25 orders also receiving a free copy of the Orange is the New Black Season 2 DVD.
The new season of Orange Is The New Black features Australia's Ruby Rose and the series starts at 2pm on June 12 – the same time as the US. The whole season will air back-to-back that day on Foxtel's showcase channel as a marathon.
