SCA's hit92.9 launching a new Perth weekend breakfast show

hit92.9 is launching a new Perth weekend breakfast show featuring Heidi, from Heidi, Will & Woody, and ex-Hawthorn and West Coast Eagles midfielder Xavier Ellis.

Weekend Breakfast with Heidi & Xavier launches this weekend and will air each Saturday from 7am-9am.

SCA chief executive Grant Blackley tells Mediaweek magazine this week how the company has been making a greater effort to invest in new programming and developing new talent.

Previously a regular guest on the weekday Heidi, Will & Woody breakfast show, Xavier said he is excited to team up with Heidi for his first proper radio gig.

“I used to come in blindly every week and hope for the best when I was with Heidi, Will & Woody but I probably need to start preparing a little more, I think,” he said.

Ellis said hit92.9 listeners can expect brutal honesty from him, now that he is no longer representing the West Coast Eagles.

“All the shackles are off, I’m no longer grounded by the AFL so my opinions will be known.”
