iHeart is spreading the festive spirit with its original and award-winning digital Christmas station, Elf Radio, just in time for the holiday season.

Listeners can tune into the North Pole’s #1 Hit Music Station to countdown the days to Christmas to listen to Christmas favourites from the likes of Michael Bublé, Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Backstreet Boys, Sia, Jimmy Barnes, Jon Bon Jovi and more.

Elf Radio was first launched in 2009, and since then, has become a fan favourite for all of those Christmas lovers. This year as a special addition, children from across the nation can record their own wish list for Santa as well as messages for family & friends, using the Talkback Mic on the free iHeart app.

Brett “Nozz” Nossiter, chief ELF officer of iHeart Australia, said, “Here at iHeart, we are certainly counting down the days until Christmas, so we are so glad to have curated the perfect playlist for all of those festive moments.

"From hanging the tinsel around the tree with our family to driving to end-of-year dinners, you know that Elf Radio is the soundtrack that we crave at this time of year.”

Earlier this year, Mediaweek spoke to Nosssiter about what's in store for ARN’s iHeartRadio. He said, “It’s the beginning of August, so in the next two to three weeks, I will expect to start getting my first inquiries about when Elf Radio will return – people love that station! That will be another big project, and then we’re going to do pop up stations for Valentine’s Day.

“We’ve got a few other new projects in development that I can’t share much about, but I’m really excited about them.”
