iHeartRadio Australia Live launches with Bieber Island
iHeart Radio Australia kicks off Live series with Bieber Island announcing 14 events in the next 12 months
With Justin Bieber’s performance at Bieber Island, Australian Radio Network is launching iHeartRadio Australia Live, in partnership with Emotive.
iHeartRadio Australia will stage 14 iHeartRadio Live events over the next 12 months. Bieber’s much-publicised performance for KIIS 106.5 and Sunrise was one of the 14 events.
Head of iHeartRadio Australia Geraint Davies said: “We’re excited to launch our iHeartRadio Live series with Justin Bieber. This is the beginning of what will be a huge year of music for iHeartRadio audiences with more live events, more exclusive content for fans, and commercial partnerships soon to be announced.”
Before the day of the event, #BieberIsland was mentioned more than six million times on Twitter. Across the three-hour event yesterday morning, almost 100,000 Tweets had Bieber’s performances trending and over 4,000 posts were shared on Instagram using the hashtag.
