International TV Charts 1291: Super Bowl 51 smashes the opposition

Super Bowl 51 gave FOX over 111m viewers and the premiere of the 24 reboot straight afterwards gave the network another 17.6 million.

An audience of over 111 million viewers is a result that networks can only dream of. Super Bowl 51 achieved just that for FOX on Sunday, and it wasn't the only hit for the network that night. FOX premiered its 24 reboot 24: Legacy after the Super Bowl to 17.6 million viewers. However, because it started so late, it didn't appear in primetime viewing in most of the US and so didn't make this week's chart. Its Australian premiere is this Sunday 12 February on TEN.
