The first big breakout scripted drama of the US Fall TV season, ABC’s The Good Doctor, has been overtaken for the week at #8 by Fall TV’s breakout scripted comedy Young Sheldon (at #6), CBS’s spinoff of The Big Bang Theory. However, that week’s episode 5 of Young Sheldon was beaten by a repeat episode of its predecessor at #5. In Australia, The Good Doctor on Seven had the highest ratings of any TV drama in 2017. Young Sheldon hasn’t screened here yet.

Also that week in the US, season 25 of Dancing With The Stars drew to a close with the finals and the finale broadcast on consecutive midweek nights.

In our UK chart, BBC One’s dancing competition Strictly Come Dancing was at #3, while David Attenborough’s Blue Planet II was a top-rating winner again for the channel.
