Jackie O responds to Melbourne move rumours on Studio 10

Angela Bishop from Studio 10 interviewed Jackie O and her manager Gemma this week about their new business venture, a major health scare she had and rumours that Jackie and Kyle might move from KIIS FM and go national. 

Are Kyle and Jackie O going to be staying with KIIS?

Gemma: "There’s nothing to announce yet. They are hot property. They’ve obviously established a really successful brand .. and what a great place to be in to have people interested. Ultimately it’s going to come down to their decision so I can’t really answer that."

Would having the show go national, and into Melbourne be the clincher for Jackie in her next deal?

Jackie: "I don’t know that would necessarily be the case for me. I think there’s a lot more to it than adding on an extra city, I think that would be a privilege to do but it certainly wouldn’t be the only reason, no. There’s a lot to weigh up I think."

Gemma: No decision’s been made, and I know it’s important who you work with and where you feel valued. It’s a great position to be in.

Jackie also reveals in the interview that she recently discovered a lump on her breast, Jackie and Gemma reveal that Jackie discovered a lump while dressing for a photo shoot and let out a scream which her friend knew meant something was wrong. She has been given the all-clear.

Jackie: “It’s terrifying. It really is .. you know those few days were just like ‘what if’ and sometimes you go I’m just not going to deal with that today. I’ll deal with that next week, and by putting it off and off it really is not the answer”
