Foxtel has launched a new multifaceted marketing and promotional campaign to highlight the unrivalled drama offering available to subscribers that features much-loved English actress and presenter Joanna Lumley.

In a range of new television commercials, digital executions, print ads and outdoor advertising, Lumley acts out a series of tongue in cheek roles based on the characters from Foxtel's broad range of local and international drama programs.

Series featured in the campaign include SoHo’s country music drama Nashville, top-rating Australian series Wentworth, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss' political satire Veep, dramedy Orange Is The New Black, the 1960s advertising industry themed Mad Men, romantic period drama Outlander and worldwide smash hit Game Of Thrones.

Shot exclusively for Foxtel in London by UK agency Brothers and Sisters, the advertising campaign highlights Foxtel's premium first run drama offering, and the popular BoxSets channel, which features full seasons of award-winning and revered drama content from all around the world.

Ed
Smith, Foxtel's executive director of sales and marketing, said: "Foxtel’s drama offering is so rich, and there is so much on offer for our subscribers at this time of year.

“Joanna has brought her icon status, fabulous style and trademark wit to Foxtel. In this campaign she shares the breadth and depth of our incredible content lineup and our amazing BoxSets service, loaded with every episode of every season of many of the world’s best dramas. What a perfect way to slip into winter."

In April alone more than 50 hours of first run drama programming will premiere on Foxtel.
