News reporter Lucy McLeod will join Australia’s dedicated news streaming service, Flash.

In her role, McLeod will host the daily News Flash updates, helping viewers stay across breaking news and the weekly Flash Drive podcast, providing a deep dive into what’s making news, along with video explainers designed to help viewers understand the big issues from Australia and around the world.

McLeod joins from Channel Nine in Perth, where she covered news and current affairs and was a regular contributor on the Today Show.

Flash executive director Kate de Brito said: “We are thrilled to welcome Lucy to Flash where she will host our weekly News Flash segments and the Flash podcast, among other things. Lucy is a bright young talent who will bring great energy to Flash, the only dedicated news streaming service offering a line-up of over 25 news channels in one place.”

Russia Today

The streaming platform allows people to choose the news they want to watch across every angle, and across different sources. Customers can take advantage of innovations including the recently launched SplitView feature, giving users the ability to watch up to four different channels on the one screen on supported devices; Personalisation, allowing users to follow the opinions, topics and news that matter to them; FlashLists, the ability to create and save stories to watch later and FlashPoint, providing every angle of a story ready to watch in one place.

Flash is available on TV, mobile, tablet or web browser, with no lock-in contracts for $8 per month.
