MEC names new national head of investment

MEC's Claire Butterworth promoted to national head of investment, replacing Sebastian Rennie

MEC has promoted current Sydney trading director Claire Butterworth (pictured), to the post of national head of investment, replacing Sebastian Rennie who has become chief investment officer at GroupM group level.

With 13 years’ experience in media in both Sydney and Brisbane, Butterworth has been with MEC for almost four years, working closely with Sebastian Rennie to develop the agency’s Sydney investment capabilities. Prior to MEC, she was group investment director on Lion Nathan at ZenithOptimedia, where she spent three years. She has previously worked at Starcom, Universal McCann and OMD.
