People who enter the crowded podcasting world and get the content right are instantly rewarded. That happened to Mamamia, which came to the party late but had no problem building an audience. It did have a few marquee names to trade off including founder Mia Freedman. Under the careful watch of former Fiveaa and ABC Adelaide radio producer Bowley, in its first full calendar year of podcasting Mamamia can boast some impressive numbers – 8m+ downloads! Four of its 12 regular podcasts were this week named amongst iTunes Best of 2016.
