Our annual listing of 25 media executives who made a difference this year and are shaping how 2018 will look.

Lisa Omagari, Managing editor of custom & native, Junkee Media

oOh!media’s content guru Lisa Omagari currently heads up Junkee Media’s custom publishing and native content divisions. She was snapped up by oOh! at the start of 2014 after years working in the Sydney media scene contributing to brands such as The BRAG, Time Out, Concrete Playground, Broadsheet, Artist Profile, FBi Radio and more.

Omagari led oOh!’s first-ever content product Hijacked.com.au (since relaunched as uni.junkee.com), Australia’s first integrated online and out-of-home content platform. By 2016 she was looking after all of the company’s native and editorial content before moving to Junkee at the start of 2017 following its acquisition by oOh!. Key oOh!/Junkee initiatives under Omagari this year include the launch of premium lifestyle brand The Upsider and the relaunch of Hijacked as Uni Junkee.
