Wog Boy 2

Recommendations by Andrew Mercado

Wog Boy 2: Kings of Mykonos
8.30pm on Eleven
It took ten years for Nick Giannopoulos to get around to making a sequel to his 2000 hit The Wog Boy and that was too long for his fans, who didn't make this as popular as the first movie. Apart from moving the action to Greece, this sequel has nothing new to say except for a pretty lame plot about a taverna and cars. Nevertheless, let's look forward to the trilogy being completed in 2020 but please Nick, set the final movie back where it belongs – in Melbourne.

Hell On Wheels
8.30pm on FX
Why is Hollywood unable to say goodbye without dragging it out? Harry Potter and The Hunger Games both split their endings into Part One and Part Two movies, while Breaking Bad and Mad Men split their final seasons into two parts that screened over two years. Yawn. Now this railroad Western is finally beginning the second part of its fifth and final season, if anybody still cares. It's such silly game to play and only done to drag as much money as possible from the franchise – just get on with it.
