Mediaweek editor James Manning and Mediaweek TV podcast contributor Andrew Mercado return for their first podcast of 2017.
They dissect the first week of what Mediaweek brands "warm up week one" with reviews of Seven's My Kitchen Rules, Nine's Married At First Sight and TEN's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!
Andrew Mercado previews the new ABC legal drama Newton's Law and TEN's much-anticipated This Is Us after watching the first couple of episodes of each series.
The Seven mini-series Hoges is also previewed with discussion about the actors playing the young and the old Paul and Noelene.
The podcast also looks at what's happening in SVOD with mention of some of the new shows coming to Stan and Netflix.
And no Mediaweek TV podcast with Andrew Mercado would not be complete without the TV soap historian and critic looking at the returns of Neighbours and Home and Away for 2017.
