Mediaweek’s Top 10 streaming platforms: How can Netflix not be #1?

Major entertainment options lower down the rankings include Netflix, Disney and Amazon

Streaming platform rankings: You work hard for your money – make sure it works hard for you when you invest in entertainment.

Here’s a subjective Top 10 streaming platforms. It is influenced by our own preferences, as we have tried to look for value, which is why Binge ranks #1. It's impressive value with on-demand and live-streaming options.

It's a big call to push the world's biggest streaming platform to #2 on the list, but Binge looks a better buy than Netflix at present. However, as we will note tomorrow, buying both of them sets you up with a pretty good TV package at what for many will be an affordable monthly spend.

Netflix hit The Queen's Gambit

The list might spark debate about rankings in the Top 10 and it’s a list we will constantly review and update when necessary.

Binge sister platform Kayo doesn't make our list because it is genre specific and is more costly than our top 10 entertainment options.

Pararmount+ starts of life ranked #5. If you think it’s too high it’s because we are going partly on their promise of great value and a broad offering. If you think it’s too low you need to wait a while. It only launched this week and it already sits at #5!
