Mediaworks NZ opens Aussie sales office

MediaWorks New Zealand has increased its representation in the Australian market, doubling its dedicated trans-Tasman sales resource, and shifting this to be based out of Australia. The changes, led by MediaWorks commercial director Paul Hancox, sees the appointment of Gaylene Riminton to client service director, Australia. Riminton joins existing Australia group manager Emma Thomas.

“Together, Emma and Gaylene will provide expert sales support and a rich client service experience, underpinned with the ability to support client needs on the ground,” said Hancox.

Riminton has worked in the New Zealand media industry for 15 years, across both agency and direct businesses. Before moving to NZ, she began her industry career with Austereo in Sydney. In New Zealand, she has worked for a multitude of key agencies and direct client businesses for NZME.

Thomas has over 20 years sales experience working in international markets, the last 12 of which were in the NZ media, where she has developed successful integrated client solutions across television and radio.
