Medium Rare Content Agency has announced that Aidan Corrigan has joined its multimedia team as head of video.

Aidan is a producer and director with extensive experience delivering award-winning content across advertising, broadcast, digital and the creative arts.

He’s worked throughout Australia, North America and Europe developing and executing creative projects while implementing production processes and strategies for companies including Condé Nast (WIRED, GQ and Vanity Fair), The Economist, Opera Australia and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

The appointment recognises Medium Rare’s expansion in multimedia formats - including on-platform, off-platform and social video strategy for the Coles Group, David Jones and Officeworks as well as podcasts series for Bunnings (Staying Grounded), Australian Seniors (Life’s Booming) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (Directors on Digital) in partnership with Microsoft. The multimedia team has also recently introduced new opportunities for brands via imagery and interactive digital storytelling.

As head of video, Aidan will be responsible for delivering both strategic and creative solutions across a variety of formats - including long-form, short-form, social, webinars and live streaming - as well as the integration of new technologies to continually innovate and optimise video storytelling for clients. The role will report to Nick Smith, group content director.

About the appointment, Nick Smith, said: “Aidan has a proven track record in creatively solving problems, plus merging analytics with editorial insight and the latest technology to produce entertaining video content to excite, engage and ultimately grow audiences. He’s achieved that for some of the best brands in the world, and we’re excited he has joined the Medium Rare team to deliver that expertise to our clients.”

Aidan Corrigan said: “Medium Rare has driven the growth of content ecosystems and engaged audiences for the most iconic brands in Australia. It’s continually innovating within the multimedia and video space and I’m thrilled to join Nick and the team to push the possibilities of video storytelling for our clients even further."
