Meghan Markle is set to appear as a guest judge on MasterChef Australia, adding a global profile to the show’s 18th season lineup.

The appearance marks her first visit to Australia since 2018, with Markle stepping into the MasterChef kitchen as the format continues to lean into high-impact guest moments to drive audience attention.

Markle will join judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli, mentoring contestants and taking part in judging duties.

appearance comes as part of a wider guest judge lineup that spans traditional culinary names, such as Rick Stein, social creators and celebrity food lovers like Jimmy Barnes.

MasterChef Australia Season 18 debuts Sunday, 19 April.
