Mitch Churi to host Mediaweek’s Next of the Best Under 40 Awards

Mediaweek is excited to announce that comedian, TV presenter, and radio personality Mitch Churi will host this year's Next of the Best Under 40 Awards, on Friday, May 26.
Churi hosts The Night Show with Mitch Churi on KIISFM as well as The Pickup with Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne. He is also the co-host of the Is It Just Me? podcast alongside Mitchell Coombs.
Churi said, “I’m so excited to be hosting the Next of the Best Awards. Does hosting them mean I’m the best? Or the best of the rest? Or next in line? So many questions, so little time. What I do know is I’m so pumped for a great night and to be hosting the inaugural event!”
The event will take place during the first night of the Vivid Festival, adding an extra touch of excitement to the evening, and will be held harborside at the prestigious Doltone House, providing breathtaking views of one of Sydney’s most iconic events.

Rising star Tori Forsyth was recently announced as the first act in the lineup of entertainment for the event.
Forsyth said, “I’m very excited to BRING some country music to an industry event of this calibre, to show how it’s all about stories, connection and the message. Not too dissimilar from what the event is all about, so I think it’s going to be a great evening!”

The Brag Media’s Rolling Stone Magazine is set to host the Next of the Best after party, with another soon to be announced artist taking to the stage.
