Samsung Electronics Australia has announced a new partnership with the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS, becoming the event’s Official Health Technology Partner in 2025.

The collaboration will see Samsung support runners with health insights and recovery tools through its Galaxy wearables and Samsung Health app. Vice President of Mobile eXperience at Samsung Australia, Eric Chou, said the partnership reflects the brand’s alignment with "endurance, innovation and excellence."

"As an international brand known for its leadership in the mobile and wearables space, their innovative health and sleep technology aligns with our goals to enhance a runner’s journey from start to finish," added Race Director Wayne Larden.

Central to the partnership is a focus on sleep improvement and recovery. Samsung Health, when used with a Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring, provides personalised sleep coaching programs and goal-setting features.

Ahead of the marathon, Samsung will activate at four TCS Sydney Marathon Run Clubs and the Running Show from 28–30 August. These activations will include product demos, “Train Your Sleep” merchandise kits, and sessions with sleep and training experts.

The 2025 event will be the first since the TCS Sydney Marathon was recognised as the seventh Abbott World Marathon Major.
